Introducing GovScale
AI agents that rebuild your town's website in minutes, then help your staff run the services residents rely on every day.
Shane Arcaro, Founder

Most local government websites were built to post notices. Today residents expect to pay a water bill, report a pothole, or request a record without calling city hall, and the people keeping the website running are usually doing two or three other jobs at the same time.
GovScale is built for them, and today we're opening it to our first founding partners.
Your website, rebuilt in minutes
Point GovScale at your current site and our agents get to work. They read every page, PDF, and form, including the ones nobody remembers posting. Then they rebuild everything on accessible layouts in your town's colors, turn scanned documents into real pages, and flag anything that looks out of date.
What comes back is a working site your team can click through. Nothing goes live until your staff have reviewed it and signed off.
If your town doesn't have a website yet, that's fine too. We'll build your first one from the documents you already have, like ordinances, meeting schedules, and forms.
Updating it is as easy as asking
Once your site is on GovScale, anyone on staff can change it. Describe the page you need, or hand the assistant a memo or a PDF, and it drafts the page for you. You can move things around and edit the text right on the page, and a second person can approve it before it's published.

Every service as a plugin
Most towns pay a separate company for the website, payments, 311, agendas, records requests, and emergency alerts. Each one has its own login, its own contract, and its own renewal date.
On GovScale, each of those is a plugin. Turn one on and it shows up on your website in your colors, the resident assistant learns how to help with it, and it shares one account and one record with everything else. GovScale also connects with the systems you already run, from payment processors to GIS maps. Try switching a few plugins on below.

Your staff stay in charge
Agents on GovScale work the way a new employee would. They only see what their department allows, anything sent to residents can wait for a person's approval, and every draft, approval, and denial is saved to a log your clerk can search and export.
Starting close to home
We're based in New Jersey, and we're starting with a small group of towns here as founding partners. Founding partners get their site built first, hands-on setup and training from our team, and a real say in what we build next.
Any community is welcome to apply, wherever you are. If you work for a town, borough, township, city, or county, request access and tell our assistant about your community. It takes about two minutes.
